She was motivated to create Paw-Purr Bling Designs when she found her new love – Shadow – a Coton de Tulear. In doing research on pet jewelry, she found that most pet charms are inexpensive, cheaply made, and LEAD based!! Lead is just as harmful to your beloved pet to chew on as it is for people! Many of these inexpensive charms are coated in a plating which pets will eat– again, not a healthy proposition! So the decision was easy--create charms for your beloved dog or cat which are of the highest quality silver, with beautiful crystals.

So Michele adapted her skills as a successful fine jeweler for your furry friends. Shadow is now the model for many of her inspired pet charms, with matching pendant and earring designs for the owners.
