Product DescriptionOrganically produced in Prince Edward County, Ontario.Oddly, the 2005 Chardonnay is reminiscent of the 1995 vintage. The nose is highly evocative, conveying the youthful stage of the vintage. The fruit is sometimes tropical or rich with an apricot preserve note. There is citrus, but more of a candied peel, than the straight zest. The oak presents a gracious background to this enormous wine. Tightly integrated, with an astonishing finish that shows great complexity. This wine should be cellared for a full year, and will drink well beyond 2012. 750 ml bottle.
