When Rocky Mountain started in the basement of a bike shop 28 years ago, we had it easy. We knew people were ready for a new kind of mountain bike, so we went to work making them and they were wildly successful. Through our initial success it became apparent that our time alone at the top could be fleeting, as the sport we all loved was about to explode in popularity - other bike companies would soon be nipping at our heels. It was then when we decided to set the bar high – a mission of constant innovation, uncompromising attention to detail, and exceptional ride quality. Since 1981, this mission has kept us at the top.
