Inspired by the worldly notion of respecting the wine we drink, Ravi Solution, Inc., makers of the ravi Instant Wine Refresher, was formed in Montreal, Quebec in 2006. Three friends, and the company founders, Jean-Francois Jodoin, Martin Tetreault, and Marc-André Nadeau were frustrated that far to often, wine service temperature was often much too warm and thus sought to find an instantaneous way to cool their adored vintages. Based on a unique and innovative concept of cooling wine at the very moment it is served, the ravi is the fastest wine chiller on the market today. Creating an alternative to traditional and bulky wine coolers, in 2008, the ravi was awarded the “Most Innovative Product of the Year” award from the Cookshop & Housewares Association in the UK and has been recommended by renowned wine experts and sommeliers such as Michel Phaneuf and Francois Chartier who has been awarded best sommelier in the world. Elyse Lambert best Sommelier of the Americas in 2009 is the company’s spokesperson. The unique design of the Ravi was created by renowned industrial designer Michel Dallaire.
