The Align-Right Pillow Company was incorporated in 1995. Judy Blondin perfected a sleeping pillow in 1993 that solved her specific neck related sleep problem. The pillow started helping others with their personal sleep problems. The pillows were tested on pain reduction at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, so it could be sold as a therapeutic pillow. Results were amazing: 93% significant pain reduction and 75% reduction in pain medication. CMCC found no other pillow was ever tested on pain reduction. Since 95 the company has sold through Chiropractors and massage therapists.

Obstacles to overcome revolved around sizing. No studies or research had been done on sizing everyone for body structures and sleep habits. The "sleep triangle” was found and a measuring protocol was set up to measure thousands of people. Finally 2 charts were designed using this information, opening the door to promotion so all sleepers can select their personal sized sleeping pillow. This took many years but, to solve the largest health problem worldwide, it was necessary.
